Ultra Shield Road Race Racing Seat Comparison
Which Ultra Shield Road Race Seat would work best for your particular application?
Ultra Shield race seats are well suited for race cars that started out as factory production vehicles or custom jig built sedan style race cars. Many customers also install the various road race seats in their street legal cars which they use for SCCA Solo, open Track Days or HPDE.
Ultra Shield Road Race Seats are constructed from .100 or .125 thick, 5052 grade aluminum, which results in a very strong and lightweight product. Aluminum race seats are relatively easy to mount and attach, depending on the installers skill level. A back brace attaching the seat to the main hoop roll cage structure is required by NASA and the SCCA. Seat mounts and back braces can be shop fabricated or retail purchased. Properly installed and connected aluminum race seats are extremely effective in helping to prevent possible crash injuries.

Includes hip, upper thigh, rib and shoulder support but no head support. 20 inch deep, front to back seat pan.
