The latest or Gen4 version of the Armadillo Kart Racing Chest and Rib Protector for youth racers. The standard, hard shell Gen4 Armadillo Chest Protector is integrated with Rib panels and padded areas of Back and Shoulder Protection to form the Vest. SFI 20.1 tagged if your track or sanctioning body mandates the Certification, or if not mandated, it simply means that this product has been tested to meet higher standards.

In comparison to the Gen4 Armadillo Vest with the hard shell Chest Protector, this model of the Armadillo Youth Chest/Rib Vest utilizes high density foam to provide the Chest Protection in the sternum area. Side panels cover the Ribs and additional padded panels are integrated into the Back and Shoulders.
