Snell SA-2025 Rated Helmets are the new standard of helmet technology, approved for competition for all forms of Youth and Adult auto racing. Also listed, while supplies last, the remaining discounted inventory of Snell SA2020 Helmets. In many cases, a young racer may fit into an SFI 24.1 Youth Helmet, but their face is too close to the chin bar and shield. The next option is moving them into a Snell SA2025 Helmet. While the measured interior size may be the same, the larger shell moves the Chin Bar and Shield further away from the face and allows the manufacturer to integrate additional interior padding, when compared to a SFI 24.1 helmet.
