RaceQuip's Youth Race Pants are constructed from Pyrovatex(R), a fire retardant material, which allows it to pass the SFI 3.2A/1 testing specs. These tests determine the overall flame and heat protection of race gear. The minimum TPP rating in order to pass testing is a "6", the RaceQuip Youth Race Pants exceeds the minimum with a TPP rating of "11". The SFI tag is sewn onto the pants for quick approval from the tech inspector.

Durability is accomplished by manufacturing with superior techniques and materials, paying the most attention to the seams and the zipper. These racing pants are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. Also featuring a high quality, heavy duty Nomex(R) backed brass zipper.

The boot cut pant legs with the hidden ankle cuffs are the preferred style of today's racers, from Kid's to Pro's.
