The smaller overall size of SFI 24.1 Youth Helmets, reduces their weight by 1 pound or more, when compared to a standard sized Snell SA2025 helmet. For instance, a Zamp 54 cm SFI 24.1 Youth Helmet and a Zamp X-Small Snell SA2025 Helmet fit the same head circumference. The reduced size and weight of the SFI 24.1 helmet can be particularly beneficial to very young and very small drivers. If your child's head circumference is larger than any of the available SFI 24.1 Youth Helmet sizes or their face it getting too close to the Helmet's Chin Bar, you will need to consider a Snell SA2025 model.
